What the two-year warranty covers — and what it does not
Two years against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase, provided the product was installed by Ovlox authorised service personnel.
Ovlox India extends a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for two years from the date of purchase. If a component becomes defective after installation, the product is repaired or replaced at the company’s discretion.
The warranty applies only where the product was installed in accordance with the printed instructions AND by Ovlox authorised service personnel. Combining the product with parts from another manufacturer voids it.
Not covered
- Cosmetic damage, including breakage of the door and loss of keys or passcodes
- Products installed with unapproved accessories
- Scratches, dents and other damage to plastic parts
- Damage from weather, direct sunlight, humidity or vibration
- Modification or alteration of the product or any part of it
- Liquid or chemical seepage, short circuits, physical damage, improper installation and battery drainage
- Damage from accidents such as fire or robbery
- The surface finish or shade of the product
Battery replacement and the safekeeping of emergency keys are the customer’s responsibility. The warranty applies to the original end-user and does not transfer on resale. Products out of warranty are repaired on a chargeable basis, subject to parts being available.
This is a summary for convenience. The Service Policy is the document that governs a claim, and where the two differ, the policy wins.
